What to Expect at Our Tournament
Welcome to Alley-Oop! We want your tournament experience to be simple and enjoyable from start to finish.
Arrival
Plan to arrive at least 1 hour before your first game.

Enter through the upper level
⭐ Player of the Game
After each game, hand the voucher to your standout athlete. Players collect their award at the Alley-Oop souvenir station.
🏆 Championship Corner
If your team finishes 1st, 2nd, or 3rd, head to the Championship Corner to pick up your rings and celebrate.
Parking at the Oval
The University of Calgary has several public parking lots available throughout the campus, all within walking distance of the Olympic Oval.
Before You Arrive
- Review the tournament schedule
- Check your game locations and times
- Arrive at least 1 hour before your first game for admissions, check-in, and getting settled before tip-off
- Bring your team uniforms, water bottles, and basketball gear
- Your coach will receive player passes — collect yours and keep it attached to your bag for easy re-entry
Spectator Admission
- Spectators must purchase an admission wristband upon entry
- Wristbands must be worn and visible at all times
- Wristbands are non-transferable and void if removed or tampered with
- Anyone without a valid wristband may be required to purchase a new one for entry
During the Tournament
- Competitive games in a fun and organized environment
- Scores and standings updated throughout the event
- Food and concession options available
- Positive sportsmanship expected from players, coaches, and spectators
